The historic two-storey Britannia Hotel was originally built around 1910 when patronised corner hotels abounded in Williamstown. In the last few years it has been sympathetically restored in recognition of its heritage status; as part of the Nelson Place residential development. Infinity Landscape Architects designed courtyard spaces to the rear of the hotel to enhance the exterior space of the proposed sales suites.
